Jon Muth's Zen Shorts was named a Caldecott Honor Book in 2006 and introduces Stillwater, a giant Panda who befriends three children and entertains them with classic Zen stories. Nothing heavy-handed or particularly religious here, just brief meditations on how our perceptions and thoughts often lead us astray.
