Jerry Pinkney has won both the Caldecott Medal (for The Lion and the Mouse in 2010) and numerous Caldecott Honors (including, here, The Ugly Duckling in 2000). Pinkney has both retold Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale as well as provided glowing watercolor illustrations throughout. This first edition copy has been signed by Pinkney on the title page and is in Fine condition in a Fine dust jacket.
