Bill Peet: An Autobiography was written about a decade before his death in 2002 and traces his life from a childhood in Indiana to his work in the Walt Disney Studio (he contributed to Pinocchio, Dumbo, Cinderella, Peter Pan, and many others) to his career as one of the most-loved children’s author/illustrators of the twentieth century. Illustrated entirely in black and white in Peet’s familiar style, this was awarded a Cladecott Honor in 1990. A Fine first edition in a Fine dust jacket.
