This 21-3/4 x 17-1/4” library poster was created by the noted science fiction and fantasy artist, Kelly Freas. With the legend, “Something for Everybody! In the Library,” this features a young reader blissfully surrounded by a menagerie of aliens, goblins, and foul creatures. Carefully mounted on a white backing measuring 23-1/2 x 18-1/4,” this is in VG+ condition with one small area of color loss to the right of Frankenstein’s monster. In addition to his fantasy work, Freas was the cover artist for Mad Magazine from 1958 through 1962 and helped create and popularize the periodical’s iconic poster-child, Alfred E. Newman.
