This large (25 x 20-1/4”) color poster was created in 1987 for Lisbeth Zwerger’s (Little Red Cap, The Wizard of Oz, The Tales of Beedle the Bard) version of The Nutcracker (Saxsonville, MA: Picture Book Studio). Used as a promotional piece for the publisher, the caption above reads, “Presents They’ll Open Again and Again…”, referring to the “Good Books for Children” below. A very appealing scene of a young girl reading an illustrated book, holding the Nutcracker with a Christmas tree and rocking horse in the background. In Fine condition.
