This 16 x 14” color poster was created upon publication of the book Outside Over There (NY: Harper & Row), by Maurice Sendak, the final book in the trilogy begun with Where the Wild Things Are. An illustration from the first page of the book, “When Papa was away at sea,” pictures Mama, Ida, and the baby watching a ship pull into the distance. Subsequently, the baby is stolen by goblins. Issued in 1981 and in Fine condition.
