This large (22 x 17”) color poster was created by the Children’s Book Council to promote Humor in libraries and was designed by popular children’s illustrator James Marshall (Miss Nelson is Missing, The Stupids Step Out, George and Martha) in 1980. Marshall’s animals surround a tree, each engaged in a funny book or situation with appropriate comments (“Tres Amusant,” “Yuk Yuk,” “Knock Knock,” etc.). The poster is quarter folded, as issued and mailed, and in VG+ condition with tiny pinholes in each corner and minuscule paper loss in two corners..
