Thornton Burgess and Harrison Cady made one of the great writer/illustrator teams in children's book history. Their combined efforts were published in a variety of formats, from miniature editions to large hardcovers. Here, their famed animal characters meet in a small (5" x 7") paperback with 5 full color illustrations and several pages of text framed by silhouettes. A terrific example of their work, scarce and potentially fragile, but preserved in Fine condition.
