Blondie, of course, was the star of Chic Young's famous comic strip and here anchors an alphabet book that depicts activities from World War Two for each letter: B is for Blackout, M is for Morale, O is for the Oath of Allegiance, and so on. A penetrating (and often comic) look at the nation's sensibilities during a time of crisis and a terrific ABC book. I've had several copies over the years that have been snapped up, but this is the first I've ever offered in the elusive dust jacket. The dj is a bit worse for wear, darkened and with a few small chips and stains, but the book itself is in About Fine condition.
