An homage to 19th and early 20th century children's books in which home interiors featured opening doors and closets and endless paper doll figures that could be inserted into scenes, Annabel's House is filled with detailed double-page illustrations of a Victorian-era mansion including an entryway, kitchen, dining room, study, bathroom, bedrooms, and more. In a rear pocket, two unused sheets of press-out figures are inserted. A first edition in About Fine condition; an unused copy. With glossy red pigmentation from the endpapers that has lightly transferred to the title and final copyright pages and a tiny tear to the upper rear gutter.
