Originally published in a smaller format in 1943, Margaret Wise Brown's A Child's Good Night Book was reissued as a larger book seven years later by the same publisher. Filled with Brown's sleepy poetic text and Jean Charlot's remarkable colored lithographs, this pictures each animal as it calls its young and prepares for bed. In Fine condition in a Fine dust jacket. Interestingly, one of the first edition points is the omission of price on the dust jacket; anybody's guess how they went about selling it!
