When the Wind Blew, originally published in 1937 and illustrated by Rosalie Slocum, was Margaret Wise Brown's first book. As such, it is extremely rare and collectible. Offered here is a later version, issued in 1977 and featuring illustrations by Geoffrey Hayes. An old lady lives by the sea with seventeen cats and one small, blue grey kitten. Everyone is happy until the wind starts to blow...and blow...and blow! A story about the comfort of pets. A first edition of the reissue, Fine in a Fine dust jacket.
