Based on their enormous success in the United State, Little Golden Books began to appear in many other countries. Some titles were simply translations of those already published in the US, though many were original to the home country. Fridolin, a Gull Baker (Golden Book) published in Norway in 1956 is a translation of a Danish title which won the Great Nordic Children's Book competition in 1955. Written and illustrated by Dane Tegner Ging, it is a first edition Norse publication in VG+ condition.
