As their catalog progressed, Golden Books found an almost limitless source of titles from popular culture, principally TV and movies. As the 60's began, one of the most-watched television programs for children (and adults!) was Hanna-Barbera's animated series, The Flintstones, a cartoon loosely inspired by Jackie Gleason's The Honeymooners. The Flintstones first edition (A) Little Golden Book (#450) follows the adventures of stone-agers Fred and Wilma and the attempt of their son, Junior, to add a pet dinosaur to the family. In Fine condition.
