I don't know about you, but what really excites me about old and rare children's books (or modern children's books, for that matter) are the illustrations. Volland publishers, out of Chicago, IL, often issued books with spectacular graphics and Bim, the Little Circus Boy is no exception. The format is unusual for Volland: a large (9-1/4" x 12-1/4"), oblong, full color book printed on linen-like paper. The illustrations of the circus acts are exhilarating! In About Fine condition.
