Golden Books was among the first publishers to promote commercial products as an integral part of their children's catalog. Fun With Decals is a Little Golden Book (#139) that features a full sheet of Meyercord decals as part of the book. When a much anticipated picnic is delayed by rain, the entire family pitches in to decorate new furniture with decals. Written by Elsa Ruth Nast and illustrated by Corinne Malvern, the story ends with instructions on how to use the page of decals that fronts the book. For obvious reasons, this is a LGB rarely found intact! In VG+ condition with a full sheet of decals, stained a bit around the edges with flakes pulled from the inside front cover (but not affecting the decal images).
