Like a bad auto accident, it’s hard to look at a book like Bulls-Eye Bill…and hard to turn away. Evidence of the sort of blatant racism that permeated our society not all that long ago, this comes with a die cut cover and a hole through the center of each page revealing the face of Bulls-Eye Bill, a racist caricature of a young black man. Bill drives an automobile, dances, swims, goes to the circus, and…wait for it…eats watermelon. With stereotypical drawings and situations…a sad, but important, reminder of times passed. In About Fine condition.
