The ABC Surprises has no title page, as issued. With 6 chromolithographed pages folded accordian style that make one picture when closed and another when pulled open, revealing the surprise underneath. In VG condition. Complete, but with exterior wear and soiling and some internal creases. Some striking illustrations, including one of a whale and another of a Black man. A very scarce movable title, especially as an alphabet book, but used and priced accordingly.
