Young Titus is clumsy and therefore Titus is in trouble. When he accidentally breaks two costly vases in an antique shop, he tries to raise money at various jobs, only to find himself deeper and deeper in debt. A final accident yields an unexpected  way out of his problems. This oversized volume by James Reeves is wonderfully illustrated in full and limited color plates by the renowned Edward Ardizzone. A scarce book in Fine condition in a VG+ dust jacket (marred only by a line of soiling along the font of the jacket...see photo).
