A twelve panel panorama-style booklet based on a Grimm Brothers fairy tale. Poor Hans may be the worst swapper ever, first buying a horse for pay and then trading it for a cow, the cow for a pig, and so on until he's left with a grindstone that rolls into a pond. Prang was a premier practitioner of the 19th century craft of chromolithography and this, one of six Christmas Stocking tales, is a wonderful example, rarely found in such Fine condition. With a Prang advertisement on rear cover.
