Japanese author/illustrator Anno is best known for his travel books (Anno's Journey, Anno's Italy, Anno's Britain, and so on), but his creativity doesn't stop there. Employing a wide range of pop-ups and folded illustrations along with an exhaustive (yet fully comprehensible) text, Anno explains the workings of the sundial and provides usable examples for youngsters to play with.
